Rage u12c competed in the Squirt Splash June 2/3 in Port Alberni.

The girls finished round robin play at 2w (Alberni Waterbottles and Langford Lightning) and 2 losses (coming up short against lake hill little league and 1 run short against the Alberni boys team ). Heading into play offs we faced lake hill again, they just had our number in this tournament. Going into the final bronze medal game against the Alberni chilli peppers for the 6th game in two days the girls were bruised, tired and ready to win. Alberni won the flip for home team, score was 6-8 going into the open inning, Rage came out in the 5th fired up and Alberni conceded without taking their last bats. The girls on the team are Naia Kroeker (MVP game 1), Kyla Button (MVP game 2), Ella Foster (MVP game 3), Kaitlyn Hagen (MVP game 4), Jocelyn Ogilvie (MVP game 5), Isabelle Scott, Jaida Zanchetta, Jaymi Hocking, Clairity Dolan, Mckinley Schworan and Jennaya Foster, coaches Sarah Kroeker, Kris Hagen, John Scott. The girls all played their hearts out and left it all on the field, this weekends stand out was Jennaya Foster who was rock solid on first, she proved to be the backbone of the team. Georgia Brown was out with an injury and Aurora French was unable to play this weekend. The 13 girls are heading down island twice this month for more tournament action and are hoping to medal again at this years regionals in Victoria.
